KLIA Transit vs KLIA Ekspres: what’s the difference?
Both run between KL Sentral and KLIA/KLIA2 on the ERL, but KLIA Ekspres is non-stop while KLIA Transit stops at intermediate stations. Here’s how to choose.

KLIA Ekspres
Non-stop between KL Sentral and the airport (KLIA Terminal 1, continuing to KLIA Terminal 2). Fastest option; best if you’re going straight to/from the airport.
KLIA Transit
Same line, but it also stops at intermediate stations (e.g. Bandar Tasik Selatan, Putrajaya & Cyberjaya, Salak Tinggi). Useful if your origin or destination is one of those stops; usually cheaper than Ekspres.
Which should I take?
- Going straight to/from KLIA or KLIA2 and want the fastest trip → KLIA Ekspres.
- Travelling to/from Putrajaya, Bandar Tasik Selatan or Salak Tinggi → KLIA Transit.
